warmbloods-and-thoroughbreds: This guy’s name is Thomas. I use to rider him back when I took lessons at the equestrian park near my place in Nepean, Ontario. He unfortunatly passed away a couple years ago. He was nobody’s favorite, but nobody hated him either. I remember I was assigned with Thomas for a hack class and everybody was making fun of me because they thought we were going to lose, as Thomas wasn’t the prettiest, fanciest or the more responsive pony in the barn. I ended up placing 5th and we were about 15 in my class. That’s when I realised that he might not’ve been the fastest, the nicest, the one that jumped the highest or the one with the most comfortable gaits, but he did try his best when you’d actually let him try….
